i was in italy from march 9 through the 23rd. i flew out of miami international airport on saturday night and arrived at fiumicino, in rome, on sunday night, local time. i spent the next two weeks primarily in the provincia di lucca in the regione toscana; that is Tuscany. this special section contains information on the cities, photos, journal, and links to information from the visit.

i visited my sister, husband and newborn baby nephew in Maui for 10 days. It was a wonderful time in natural place of amazing beauty and surreal beaches and landscapes. The pictures don't speak to the skill of this photographer; they speak to the beauty of an island.
